We made contributions in Uganda in order to better understand how life can differ from our own in Australia in less developed countries. We spent time in refugee camps and local networks during our stay, where we witnessed the daily struggle that Ugandans have to obtain the most basic necessities like food and water. It turned out to be strikingly evident that numerous Ugandans were jobless, not by decision nevertheless rather because of an absence of possibility.
