Chanca Piedra
Chanca Piedra is the Spanish name for Phyllanthus niruri, and literally means "stone breaker". Originally found growing in the Amazon rain forest, it was named by the native Indians. Traditionally used to support the health of the kidneys, liver, urinary and gall bladder, studies have suggested its ability to inhibit the formation of kidney stones. Proven to have antispasmodic, antiviral, and, antibacterial properties and is also a natural diuretic. Commonly found in capsule or tincture form or made into a tea.
